Cabarete Real Estate (CRE) was established in 2003 in conjunction with the completion of the Velero Condo/Hotel Resort. At this time, there were only few agencies dealing with real estate in Cabarete. With the growth of this town, improved infrastructure and more condominium projects being built, more real estate offices opened up in the area.

In 2011 Cabarete Real Estate purchased a Remax franchise to further strengthen its role as a leading real estate force in the Cabarete Area. The name changed to "REMAX in Paradise" and is independently owned by Cabrete Real Estate S.A.
