Everyone knows that Cabarete is famous for wind and watersports, but what may be less obvious to those people who have not had the pleasure of visiting Cabarete lately is that Cabarete is quickly becoming an upscale and sexy travel destination. Exactly one year ago, Nikki Beach Club invested in Cabarete by building a beautiful beach restaurant with an amazing variety of entertainment from art exhibits to naked Sushi, wine tasting, theme nights, fashion shows and a whole lot more, and as a result, has attracted just the right mix of upscale clients from the Capitol, Santiago, and many far away places without alienating the local clients. New general manager, Walton Goncalves, has been instrumental in taking this beach club to a whole new level by offering new exotic menu items and using all of his experiences from being a manager at other Nikki beach locations around the world.

A recent visit from Miss Reef International on June 25th was the latest publicity event to grace this little beach town, which is growing up to be more than just a great windsurfing and kiteboarding destination.
