Barbara has owned property in Cabarete and lived in the Encuentro/Cabarete area, since 1995. She established, and later sold, a successful convenience-store business, catering to guests -- mainly North American -- from local hotels. Prior to joining Cabarete Real Estate, this year, Barbara listed and sold condos, villas, land and commercial real estate with a local Re/max franchise -- maintaining top 50 ranking among Caribbean Re/max agents for 3 years.

Before settling in Cabarete, an Illinois real estate broker's license and MA degree, from the University of Chicago, helped to develop a career in service and communications, that included managing "The Journal of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers," consulting in CEO communications for McKinsey & Co (international management consulting firm) and, ultimately, starting and managing a successful corporate and leisure travel agency, in downtown Chicago.

Barb's prime personal goal is to provide service that makes clients glad they chose to invest in our beautiful North Coast, with the help of our great team at Remax in Paradise.
